New colture added LACTOFERM AB

During the last years the production of fermented milk containing probiotic coltures seen an increasing , due at the growing awareness for the public that the use of the products containing live lactic starter colture is helpful for maintaining the intestinal flora and consequently the regular function of intestine. That products represent today a good part of dairy market and in particular a real future for this sector.

In parallel at this event has been observed that fermented milk (as yogurt and others) not always attract the consumer to buy them because this product not take parts in daily dietary habits.

This is translated in the consumer request of product of usual consumption but that contain the right quantity of live lactic starter colture.

At this purpose Biochem srl from that 30 years , producer of lactic starter coltures for dairy industry, thought to develop a colture that can be added in fermented   and   not   fermented   products maintaining unchanged taste, structure and chemical characteristics of the products while ensuring at the consumer an appropriate quantity of lactic starter coltures.

The result is translated in the colture Lactoferm AB . This colture, composed by Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidumbacterium lactis can be added directly at pasteurized milk or in fermented milk before their packaging.

The high quantity of bacteria in the package and their inability to produce lactic acid, permits to keep them live and active in high quantity without modify psysical, chemical and organoleptic characteristics of the final product.
